Claim Handler Welcome Guide

This article is designed to help you get oriented to SigmaSight as a claim handler user. 

The purpose of SigmaSight is to help you and your attorney through the negotiation of your litigated file. Through the use of court and verdict data, plaintiff attorney and venue statistics, machine learning, and easy visualization of the case variables, you and your attorney can more easily work together to reach resolution and make offers that will close cases.

When you receive a new case, you will create the claim in SigmaSight and invite defense counsel. Once the claim is created, you or defense counsel will update the case with the plaintiff attorney and venue to see the legal environment risk factors. By viewing the legal environment risk factors, you and your attorney can more easily strategize and understand how to proceed.
