How to Create a Claim
Creating a claim in SigmaSight is an easy, quick process, with minimal data entry required.
All you need to do to create a case is:
- Press the add claim button in the upper right hand corner
- Enter the claim number and plaintiff name ( for easy reference for you and your team)
- Select the state
That's it! Your case has been created and will appear on the dashboard. You may click on your case number from the dashboard to add the plaintiff attorney and county to create your analysis.
In the next screen, you will have the option to invite other people to view your case. If you prefer to skip this step, simply click Close.
To invite others from within your organization, use the tab called Internal Partners. When you start to type their name you will be able to select them from the available users, and click Send.
To invite Outside Counsel, enter their email address and click Send.
