We are pleased to announce a series of updates aimed at improving your experience and the accuracy of our platform. These enhancements reflect our ongoing commitment to providing you with the most reliable and user-friendly tools available.
1. Improved Non-Economic Model
To better assess risk in scenarios with limited data, we've refined our Non-Economic Model. This enhancement involves blending state and venue data to create a more accurate risk profile. When a venue or attorney has few or no allocated verdicts, correlated state and national data is incorporated into the model, using a more representative sample size to calculate expected damages awarded. This approach clarifies the distinction between historical experience and model risk, leading to more precise predictions.
Key Changes:
- Blended Icon: Introduced in the user interface to indicate blended data usage.
- Appears for venues with fewer than 30 verdicts.
- Appears for attorneys with fewer than 5 verdicts.
- Enhanced Data Labels: Clearer labels now represent specific historical verdicts that surpass the model's predictions.
2. Updated Invitation Emails
To prevent confusion regarding expired temporary passwords, our invitation emails now specify the expiration date. This addition provides clarity on login issues and encourages timely account activation.
3. Optimized Search Functionality
We've made several improvements to our search capabilities:
- Attorney Search Without Bar Numbers: Our relevant search now returns attorney results even if a bar number isn't available, making it easier to find and select the right attorney.
- Cross-State Practice Recognition: Enhanced identification of attorneys practicing in multiple states ensures comprehensive and accurate search results, reflecting their diverse practice locations.
Bug Fixes
In addition to these enhancements, we've addressed various minor bugs to improve overall platform stability and performance.
